On French Economist, Thomas Piketty, Claiming that it was FDR (In 1933) Who Raised the Top Tax rate to 63% and Not President Hoover (in 1932)
He's either sloppy (and, yes, mistakes can be made when writing a 700 page volume), ignorant, or pushing an agenda; this one being that the Democrats are always much tougher on the rich than the Republicans.

Democrats being hard on the rich
invariably makes me chuckle .
The wealthy (Jeffrey Immelt, for example) always seem to do well no matter who's in charge it seems. Some of them anyway.
