One for the Central Planners

According to economist and former adviser to Mikhail Gorbachev, Yuri Maltsev, the only thing that there wasn't a shortage of in the old Soviet Union was televisions (black and white sets mostly of course), and the only reason for that was because that was how the state disseminated most its its propaganda....Well, it's good to see that they got at least one thing right.
