On the Israelis and Gaza
While I'll happily stipulate that I don't agree with everything that Israel has done during this crisis; their various tactics, etc., the sequence of events as to how the scenario initially erupted most assuredly implicates the Palestinians; a) The Israelis dismantled hundreds of settlements and left the Gaza Strip completely. b) American Jews purchased a $14 million horticulture business from the settlers (close to 10% of the region's total GDP) and gave it to the Palestinians. c) Hamas immediately destroyed all of the greenhouses while simultaneously launching thousands of rockets into Israel. That's how it all started, people, and for clowns like Chomsky and Finkelstein to constantly try and make Israel the demon here is most unfortunate.

Hatred is a self perpetuating illness. It defies reason.
Well said.
On one side, we have Israelis, who use imperfect tactics.
On the other side, you have the Palestinian government, which wants to kill off all the Israelis.
No comparison.
