That's the percentage of Bjorn Borg's income that the Swedish government got when the tennis star decided to pack up and move to Monaco. Smooth Swedes, real smooth.

If one is well-off, any place in the world can be home. Many US
ex-pats go overseas to escape taxes as well, but oddly some go to places with higher taxes.
Dunno, if I had that kind of $$,
I'd raise buffalo like Ted Turner.
Borg was quite the player in his day, though.

I guess that llamas are a decent option, too.

Punitive policies that harshly mislabel people who work hard and earn a lot for what they do as "plutocrats" to be punished usually backfire.

Those of means, like Borg, weather such predation quite easily. Middle and lower class people can't, and they are the ones who often end up actually suffering.

And those who whine about "plutocrats" all the time are people of weak character who have given into impulses of greed and envy, and are somehow instilled with the idea that the best way to get ahead is not to strive, but to sit like a troll in dark places and insult their betters who have their act together and have made something of their lives.

So we know why millionaire Dennis Rodman is attracted to North Korea?

BB-Idaho said...

I rather wish millionaire Dennis Rodman would stay in N. Korea.

The pound for pound greatest rebounder in history is also apparently the pound for pound greatest fool.

And the fact that he threw that poor bastard in prison under the bus, too. You don't get much lower than that.

Rodman is far from being a millionaire....he's been in bankruptcy court a few times.

North Korea is toting his note.

Rodman is this decade's version of Billy Carter.

He should have gotten financial advice .

I still can't believe that the Cavs paid Shaq $20 million in 2009. I mean, my God, that comes out to about 50 grand per rebound.......Actually, ESPN did one of their 30 for 30 documentaries on how more than half of the professional athletes end up filing for bankruptcy. I don't remember if Rodman was one of them.
