Note to Shaw 5

And why do you always have to throw Republican malfeasance in my face? I'm not a Republican. I'm an Independent who hasn't voted Republican for President since 1988 (yes, I voted for the first George Bush over that fellow in the tank - sue me), and I voted for Obama in 2008 (and I still consider myself to the left of him on marriage equality, pot legalization, and even immigration). I mean, yes, I do in fact have a much more market-oriented approach to energy, healthcare, and the economy than do the progressives who seemingly want to solve everything via giving the keys to the Caddy to some bureaucratic dullard or an oily politician whose solitary interest is to enrich himself. But come on, Shaw, do we want to solve the problems here or do we not want to solve the problems here?

You cant make a dent with her Will. Shaw gets all her information from the White House web site. Her and that little band of camp followers at her bog are true lemmings they can see no wrong in Obama.I'm sure Tues.night they will sitting there right in front of the TV,unblinking thinking they are watching a successful president.

Hell...she stops by WD's each week to pat him on the head.....she's another one you would like to buy for what they are worth and sell them for what they think they are worth.

Can't answer for Shaw, but my best guess is for most progressives it's something like this... You're either with us 100% on all issues or you're against us. Total conformity is expected.

By the way, did I mention many, maybe even most conservaives, demand the same?

By all means, leave the keys to the caddy with the Ken Lays of the
world.

Rusty does have a good point. Shaw does read WAY too much like campaign and/or ObamaCo press releases.

BB, I totally agree with you on Ken "douchebag" Lay (he was a staunch backer of cap and trade and Kyoto, btw, and was just as cozy as could be with groups like Greenpeace, etc.) but I would also add that guys like that get a lot of their power via their incestuous relationship with, yep, you guessed it, the government. Jeffrey Immelt is another example (made a killing under Bush and not a beat's been missed under Obama).

I know I am gonna get the shit beat out of me for this, but I have absolutely no sympathy for the Enron stockholders.

Yes,Ken Lay belongs behind bars, but how many of those people getting options each year and making 10 to 20% a year off the stock were bitching and moaning? None of them....they didn't start crying until the house of cards fell in.....greed is on both sides of the ledger.

I doubt Shaw reads these, so there isn't much more I will say on this subject.

I can understand some understanding between Shaw and WD... WD defended Shaw concerning the hitler baby troll.

However, Shaw must think it is fine that WD sends hundreds of sexually-harassing messages to other bloggers...as long as WD doesn't send them to Shaw. On this matter, Shaw's character is found lacking.
