So, you want to start a pool; the first ignorant leftist on the radio and/or cable who calls this fellow an "Uncle Tom"?......Me, I'm predicting Mike Malloy (with Ed Schultz nibbling at his heels, of course).
When the "Uncle Tom" is used as an epithet not for African-Americans who are submissive, but for those who don't fit into narrow expected stereotypes of expected behavior, it is clearly racist. As it has been used against Clarence Thomas and Herman Cain.
And it isn't the wealth that we admire. It's the doing of something with one's life. Yes, it could be in business but it could also be in medicine, science and technology, the arts, philanthropy (the Rockefellers did more to help humanity than any stupid-assed politician ever did), education, law, architecture, etc.. Basically anything other than sitting at a keyboard and whining about the disparity of static categories that don't even exist.
