Epithelially Challenged
Now that Olbermann has apparently dropped off the face of the earth, the person with the thinnest skin on cable now probably would have to be (to actually borrow a phase FROM Olbermann) Billo. I saw an episode recently in which the dude practically had a temper tantrum simply because Howard Kurtz (who I consider - along with the Baltimore Sun's, David Zurawick - the Holy Grail of media criticism) had the audacity to correct him on something...............................................................................The whole thing went down something like this: Mr. O'Reilly started making some huge deal over the fact that the mainstream media (NBC News, especially) wasn't holding the President's feet to the fire on his kill-list, his targeting of U.S. citizens, etc., accusing them of rank hypocrisy because they absolutely eviscerated Bush for water-boarding. It actually wasn't a bad point BUT, as Mr. Kurtz clearly pointed out, it was in fact NBC News that first broke the kill-list story........................................................................................Well, you you would have thought that Kurtz had accused him of child-abuse or something (he "went after me", O'Reilly said). That much Billo went off on him. And the fact that even Bernie Goldberg essentially agreed with Kurtz says to me that this guy really needs to get over himself - and soon.
