Miscellaneous 112

1) Hillary Clinton was treated like garbage in 2008....BY LIBERALS! It started when you had clowns like Chris Matthews and David Shuster cheap-shotting her; Matthews saying that the only reason that she even had a political career was because her husband cheated on her, Shuster saying that she was "pimping" her daughter. That, of course, was followed by even more disgusting rants against her by Randy Rhodes (yes, she was shnockered when she did it) and the reverend Jeremiah Wright and Keith Olbermann basically running Mr. Obama's campaign from MSNBC. The whole sordid episode was flat-our disgusting, in my opinion.............2) Oh, and let is not forget, either, the way that the hard left vilified Mrs. Clinton when she didn't immediately concede. I mean, it was almost as if they wanted her to cry, "uncle" - never minding, of course, that Reagan never conceded to Ford in 1976, or that Kennedy never conceded to Carter in 1980 (I still remember poor Carter chasing Kennedy around the stage). It's like, what, a woman needs to know her place in politics or something?............3) Guarding Jason Terry (even at the ripe old age of 34)? Seriously?...I would rather guard Christ than Jason Terry, for Christ. I mean, I hate to be so sacrilege about it but, come on!............4) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWPSU8R-Yss.....A brief but definitive tribute to the beautiful and talented Eva Marie Saint (replete with footage of her kissing Cary Grant, Marlon Brando, Montgomery Clift, Warren Beatty, Paul Newman, and even Bob Hope!).

Just to lighten to subject matter a bit......

Back in the day when Rusty was just a wild and crazy guy...the following happened......

I was at the bar in the old Golden Nugget in Atlantic City having a couple drinks after finishing my work day.

Sitting a few seats down from me was a beautiful dark haired lady of the lowlands.

We started a conversation, she moved over to sit by me and we had more then a few cocktails.

Well ,one thing became another and this beautiful woman agreed to come home with me.

Just before we got up to leave she said, before we leave there's something I need to tell you.I thought,oh boy what is this going to be.

She said...I have to tell you...."I have Acute Angina."

Ever smooth,I said "from where I'm sitting your tits are'nt bad either."

Rim shot here!!!! I'm here till Tues....tip your waiters.....try the veal.....

Will: The Hillary Clinton campaign also treated Obama like garbage.

Geraldine Ferraro, representing the Clinton campaign, made deplorable racist statements about candidate Obama.

Sure, Ferraro was sacked, but the damage was done already.

It was also the Clinton campaign that made the "Obama is a Muslim" meme public when her campaign promoted it.

Sure, that campaign staffer was sacked, but the damage was also done already.

However, Hillary herself gave winking support to the "Obama is a Muslim" idea here

There was no excuse for statement.

If they wanted to get these pernicious anti-Obama ideas out there in the best way possible to damage his campaign, Hilary's campaign played it perfectly: have someone representing her get the ideas out there, and then have the person fall on their sword. But the ideas would remain out there in the public consciousness, doing their damage regardless.

I didn't mean to imply that Mrs. Clinton wears a halo. She can be as tough a customer as anybody. I was focusing in more on the media's abject favoritism for Mr. Obama and how the left essentially sold the lady down the river.

The voters decided. Anyway, I agree with dmarks. The Clinton campaign played dirtier.

Remember when WJC said, "Jesse Jackson won South Carolina in ’84 and ’88. Jackson ran a good campaign. And Obama ran a good campaign here".

Implying, of course, that Obama was just another black candidate who could win in states where the African-American population was higher, but that he couldn't win the the nomination or the general (where he would need to win "white" states). I was pretty disgusted in BC for that comment.

Anyway, what's the reason for this post now? I'm guessing Will read an old article by a Conservative author, and then the light-bulb went off over his head... another post in which he could bash Liberals!

Or perhaps it was a new post in which the Conservative said Hillary should challenge Obama for the nomination. Or Hillary should run in 2012 because BHO is going to be disqualified (for not being "natural born")? Who knows? The point is Will puts a lot of stock in what Conservative authors have to say.

Yeah, I can't remember Obama doing anything like this to her, or any other opponent in the campaign.

You fellows may be right, but the media, I'm saying, and the Democratic stablishment, those elements really skwered Mrs. Clinton - Shuster said that she was "pimping" her daughter. I mean, come on.

Will still hasn't explained what "Muscellaneous" means, or why he skipped to #110 in what looked like a new series. At first I thought he meant "Miscellaneous", but if it was an error, why hasn't he corrected it?

Anyway, I've decided to get in on the action (of weirdly titled posts) with my own "Musclelaneous 110" blog... although I think mine makes a little more sense.

I just corrected it. The letters on my keyboard are disappearing. Officially time to get a new one, I guess.

Will: I just corrected it.

OK, but now I've got to ask, who's "Pail Newman"?

Will: If the "W" key has vanished, better check with former Clinton white house staffers.

WD asked "OK, but now I've got to ask, who's "Pail Newman"?"

Pail Newman starred in the 1985 western "Pail Rider".

A great film that belongs on anyone's bucket list.

Just fixed it (the spell check obviously doesn't catch stuff like that). Man, I should just hire you guys to be my proof-readers and be done with it. Or should I say priif readers?
