Never

What would be my answer to the question, "So, when was the last time that you uttered the name, Alan Keyes, without prefacing the word, idiot, in front of it?"

Alan who?

When he ran against Obama for US Senate in Illinois I didn't think he was an idiot as much as single issue, blind and deluded right wing fool.

Then again, that is a good description of an idiot.

I'm glad that has been cleared up.

I just like saying it (even at home, by myself); "The idiot, Alan Keyes."

I say it when I stub my toe or drop something. I leave the Alan Keyes part off, and I sometimes substitute the word idiot for another word, but in the end, it an expletive about Alan Keyes, nonetheless.

Oh, and I guess that makes me a racist, if I correctly understand how things work.

Alan Keyes is the one black dude who you can discriminate against and not get into trouble over it. This, in that nobody of any race/planet particularly cares for the fellow. Except, as Rusty has already alluded, nobody remembers him.

Nah. Uncle Tom suits him better.

That's not bad. I still like "idiot" the best, though.

Alan Keyes, wasn't he the religious wack-job in the GOP, before they all had to pretend to be religious wack-jobs to try to get the nomination?

Yes, 37927, he's the real thing.

Damn will, I knew one of them was real, and he seems the craziest at the moment even with Bachmann, Palin and Perry.

Fred Karger is the 1st gay American to run for President. He's running as a Rockefeller/Eisenhower Republican and the fellow can't even get arrested. It shows how extreme the Republican party has ultimately gotten.

They were too extreme for me from Reagan on, and now a days, people say Reagan would be booed off the stage with his record pre-1980.

PS; off topic will, but the most poignant and at the same time depressing post I have read in a long time;

An Elegy for the Age of Space

I read his posts every Wednesday, he only posts once a week, but they are good.

Number Guy,

I know I am not Will, but can I read it too?

I guess not. I tried to go there and received notification that the blog does not exist.

:(

Reagan would be considered a socialist by today's standards. Not only did he raise the debt-ceiling, the dude raised revenues as well. That would have never cut it in today's climate......I got "file not found" for your link, btw.

Sorry John screwed up the URL;

I'll try again;

An Elegy for the Age of Space

Works this time.
