So, what's the first thing that Christine O'Donnell does after her Piers Morgan/CNN debacle? Yep, you got it, folks, she traipses right on over to Fox and Bill O'Reilly for some good old fashioned rehab......................................................................................................And that wasn't even the end of it, either. During the following evening's program, O'Reilly and one of his little round-tables concluded that this O'Donnell gal had in fact been "done in" by the left (in general, I'm guessing). I mean, talk about getting the royal treatment, huh?................................................................................................P.S. And just for the damned record here, Ms. O'Donnell did herself in. This, folks, in that she's the one who said that all of that stupid shit, made all of those moronic campaign commercials, basically accused her opponent of being a homosexual (and, no, she didn't mean it as a compliment, either) etc.. She, and she alone, me-buckos.....Oh, and as far as her "rehabilitation" goes, until the woman comes to grips with this fact FIRST, you're probably not going to see much in terms of it.

I think what he meant to say, John, was that Obama is a corporatist, as opposed to Republicans, who are CORPORATISTS!!!!!!!
The night O'Reilly made the announcement, I wrote this:
Bill O’Reilly said today that GE earned five billion dollars last year and paid zero dollars in taxes. He repeatedly pointed out that GE is a “friend” of Obama. According to O’Reilly, GE supported Obama more aggressively than any corporation ever represented a candidate, and in return, O’Reilly implied, Obama permitted his corporate cronies to use tax loopholes that allow them to pay no taxes at all.
Mr. O’Reilly failed to state when these loopholes were created, or on whose watch. The reason is simple: how the loopholes came to be is irrelevant. The fact is Obama has been in office for more than two years, and he still hasn’t initiated a bill that says GE cannot take advantage of corporate loopholes. It is true that the Commander in Chief cannot initiate bills, but that really isn’t the point. The fact that neither republicans nor democrats have proposed the GE tax law is also irrelevant. Only one thing matters: Mr. Obama failed to create a law denying GE the right to take advantage of republican tax loopholes. Now GE is not paying any taxes because of Obama’s negligence.
I received emails explaining to me that I may want to withdraw it because I confused about the role of the president.
People are so stupid. I responded: "I wasn't talking to you, sir, and the intended recipient already knows how confused I am."
I guess Obama could have issued an executive order that stated GE could not take advantage of existing tax law, but somehow I thinkt he GE order would have been met with cricism.
Christine O'Donnell just waved her witchy wand and put a confusion spell on the fine and upstanding Mr. O'Reilly.
John, O'Reilly's vendetta against GE has a lot to do with his rivalry/feud with Keith Olbermann and others at MSNBC. It's an end-around way to demonize and attack them, IMO.............Hadn't thought of that, Double b. I'm telling you, though, if in fact it was a spell of hers, it worked like a charm (no pun intended).
But, Will, you're forgetting that at least she ain't got locusts! While it may be true that Christine O'Donnell is a dullard, at least the woman/her supporters can say that she never, EVER, refused to support an anti-lynching bill because she thought that it would cost her votes in the South.
They can also say that she never interned tens of thousands of innocent American civilians, attempted to pack the Supreme Court, used the IRS as a weapon against her political opponents, or came up with a policy that was so flagrantly unconstitutional (the NRA) that it was voted down 9-0.
None of that stuff was even remotely Christine O'Donnell. Maybe the woman just flat-out isn't progressive enough?
Yeah, at least she ain't FDR.
Stick a fork in O'Donnell, she's done. Ain't nothin' left but the cryin'.
It amazes me how these people can think that they can go on these shows and only answer the questions that they WANT to answer. I mean, seriously, where in the hell did they ever get this notion?
