I think that Christine O'Donnell can pretty much kiss-off ever running for political office again. I mean, did you happen to see her on Piers Morgan the other night? She went on the show to hock her new book and when the Brit host started questioning her on some of the things in it, she got all pissy and walked off. She even had one of her chump-change handlers step in front of the camera to try and block the viewers from seeing it, comically so..................................................................................................And, really, I gotta ask, what in the hell is it with these tea partier gals? None of them ever wants to answer a question, for Christ! I mean, I give her credit for going on a non-Fox program and all (Palin and Angle wouldn't have even done that) but, other than that, the woman came across as utterly stoogey, in my opinion................................................................................................P.S. And, please, don't let that smile and cutesy demeanor fool you, either. This O'Donnell bimbo has a flat-out nasty streak. Remember how she basically called her Republican primary opponent, Mike Castle, a faggot? Vicious, huh?..................................................................................................Of course, just like her hero/fellow profiteer, Sarah Palin, she's also very good at flipping things around and making herself the victim. Perish the thought that we would ever forget that little attribute.

Can you imagine any of them going on a real news program...not that any exist anymore?

I'd like to give a shout-out to Anderson Cooper and John King. Those two guys over at CNN do a pretty darn good job, I think.......And, no, I can't for a minute imagine any of those gals ever going over there. The risk/reward ratio just wouldn't be good enough.

I didn't tune in. If I had, I would have increased the audience by 50%, I'm sure.

Yeah, I guess that his ratings are even smaller than Larry King's were. Not that they necessarily have a plan b, mind you.

Hey, give Palin a break. At least Sarah demonstrated some positives while governor.

And she is one fine marketing executive. And lacks the "mean streak."

At least Sarah demonstrated some positives while governor.

Like quitting half way through her term?

John Myste said...

Hey, number guy, as you're sometimes called, that was a very positive thing for her to do. I would be grateful if she stopped being my governor.

Mordechai said...

John, that was what I was saying, her greatest accomplishment was quitting half way through her term.

The people of Alaska are definitely grateful to her for that, oh yea and the fact she and her grifter brood are buying houses in Arizona.

Let's not forget, the alsakan independence party speak highly of palin as well. So if you're into traitors, sarah's your gal. So by all means, cut her some slack. If you don't, how can rick perry be seen as a credible contender?

Les Carpenter said...

Perry isn't. Anymore more questions??

Anyone catch Maxine Waters (while wearing her best Aunt Ester wig)tell the tea party to go straight to hell? So much for the civility Obie asked for.

Rusty Shackelford said...

BTW....$490,000 of stimulus money was spent in Clark County Navada for "Green job training." The money created 1.72 jobs.Money well spent Obie.

John Myste said...

If I were the one who got the 72% of a job, I would leave it and figure out a way to get on welfare.

That other bastard is lucky, though! Thank God for Obama, who once again, saves the day.

Rusty Shackelford said...

What flavor Kool Aide today John?

Will "take no prisoners" Hart said...

Maxine Waters is a disgrace, Russ. She's the Bachmann/Palin of the left and probably couldn't get elected in any other district.

Jerry Critter said...

Rusty,
Rather than cherry picking one little item, and not even referencing it, I suggest you look at the overall picture.

John Myste said...

Jerry, can I cherry pick?

Jerry Critter said...

That depends on what (or who's) cherry you are picking.

Rusty Shackelford said...

I really have to apologize to Jerry...he once again linked to a Think Progress article, and we all know anything they print is absolutly true.Sooooooo,it seems the Obie stimulus money sent to "green" proposals has in fact created 14 million jobs in the past two years and has also pumped 27 zillion dollars into the american economy.Jerry, thank you for the eye opener...again I apologize to you for ever doubting the positive effect the Obie stimulus has had on the countrys economy. You and John have my complete admiration for being true believers....you're the guys who will be playing Nearer My God to Me as the ship sinks beneath the waves.

John Myste said...

Rusty,

Just so I know, what I am a true believer in? Did I make an argument with which you do not agree, and if so, please enlighten me, what was it?

I fully intend to review my position as a candidate for recanting, once I learn what it is.

Will "take no prisoners" Hart said...

I'll vouch for you, John. You don't come across as anything even remotely close to a partisan.

John Myste said...

Will, I am a devout liberal. It just so happens that I think all of our arguments, just like the conservative arguments, are irrational and fallacious. I usually refute fallacious arguments when they are presented to me. In most cases I can literally label the fallacy involved with its technical names (but I don't more often than I do).

I really am somewhat partisan. However, I am not sure where Rusty's statement came from. I think he assigned an argument to me because he knows I am a liberal.

If this is the case, Rusty: I reject probably 85 -90% of every argument you ever hear a liberal make, so please don't assign their arguments to me.

I probably agree with about 70% of their positions, so you can call me a liberal and I will proudly accept the label. Call me a conservative and I challenge you to a duel.

Rusty Shackelford said...

Contrary to Will I think John is a complete partisan and a devotee of failed liberal policies.

Rusty Shackelford said...

I also believe John and Jerry would follow this failing president off the cliff.

Will "take no prisoners" Hart said...

You GOTTA like his sense of humor, though, Russ (as I'm sure he likewise appreciates yours).

John Myste said...

Contrary to Will I think John is a complete partisan and a devotee of failed liberal policies.

I am a 70% partisan of failed liberal politics, sir. I think I stated this already.

John Myste said...

Rusty,

However, the argument you ascribed to me was not mine, which is what brought all of this up. You are attempting to refute my words, even though I never spoke them, or in this case gave them consideration one way or the other.

Jerry Critter said...

Apology accepted, Rusty. I am glad you have seen the light.

Jerry Critter said...

I know you don't like Think Progress, but I note all you can do is ridicule rather than dispute what they say.

The CDM said...

Yeah, Jerry. I get the, "Snopes is a left-wing propaganda machine" and so is politifact and Factcheck. Fox News is the ONLY source for truth.

Can't say that with a straight face.

Will "take no prisoners" Hart said...

I agree with Rusty in that the stimulus package was somewhat (he would probably say, very) ineffectual and that it could have been structured far better (Howard Fineman referred to it as "spraying the desert"). But it's still hard to see how a President McCain could have done any better....Again, Obama ain't much, but at least he ain't the other guy.
