The Band with Levon Helm singing did a really good rendition of Atlantic City. And,Robert Gordon did a wonderful"Fire."
I saw the The Band do "Atlantic City" on Letterman, God, 12-15 years ago or so. You're right, it was good.
ah, sorry, that is like asking which sip of a cool clean glass of water is your favorite? I am still gonna ride with the whole album, "Welcome to Asbury Park" or at least start there.
"Spirits in the Night" was probably my favorite from that one (another really excellent album of his).
Jungleland remains a personal favorite along with the e street shuffle, rosalita and spirits i the night....
Marcus, "Rosalita" would probably be my #2, "Badlands" #3 (there's probably a lot that I'm forgetting).
Alright enough is enough.....as a former citizen of Freehold N.J. and a graduate of Freehold Regional High School.....the only song that reflects the true Springsteen expierence is Born to Run. Hands down,no contest.
"Spirits in the Night" first came to mind for me also.
Can't go wrong with "Spirits in the Night", bra.
