Double b, I was thinking job growth and innovation here but, youza, in terms of babliciousness, etc., you're choice is totally cool.......dmarks, you're right, the computers ARE an arm and a leg. But people are willing to pay it. They have to be at least pretty good.......What a surprise, wd, you picked a politician and not an innovator.
dmarks, you're talking to wd on this one, right? I was the one who wanted to clone the successful businessman/innovator (though, yes, like double b, I wouldn't mind cloning some babaliciousness, too; Courteney Cox, Felicity Huffman, Kristin Scott Thomas, Diane Lane, Naomi Watts, etc.).
I was thinking in terms of living people, CDM. Who would I want to clone of anybody's who's ever lived? Hm, I gotta think about that. My lustful side would probably blurt out Garbo, Dietrich, LaMarr, or Lombard. But, yeah, my humanitarian side would probably prevail and say something like you said.

That is easy, Jimmy Buffett!!!!
Then I would clone Lauren Bacall, and you can guess the reason for that one.
Bernie Sanders.

I oppose the inovation of more technocrap that we don't need. I have never purchased, nor do I use any of Steve Jobs' products.
That's where the jobs are, bra. Not in widgets, horse and buggy carriages, etc..

On a more serious note, Jonas Salk. That person knew how to "cure" diseases rather than "treat" them.

Kinda my point, Will. There is no one these days with that "cure" mentality anymore.
An AIDS vaccine would be huge step in the right direction.
