The fact of the matter is that Africa was a continent that was characterized by slavery, conquest, genocide, cannibalism, voodoo, etc. way, WAY before a white person ever set foot on it and that while, yes, the whites in fact did do some horrible things there (the Belgians in the Congo, the Brits in Sudan, etc.), they also brought medicine, education, economic opportunity, infrastructure, and even started an abolition movement................................................................................................................And as far as the Boers go, what the fuck did they do (you know, besides warding off genocidal attempts by both the British and the Zulus, building a prosperous modern society in what had previously been a killing-field, etc.) and why in the hell should they be the scapegoats for South Africa's continuing pitiful condition?
