We put a fair amount of effort into training and equipping the Iraqi forces, so it is a bit odd . Perhaps the performance of the Iraqi military in Gulf 1&2 should have been a clue; bodes ill for our effort in Afghanistan, huh?
It definitely does and the fact that Afghanistan is even less of an actual country than Iraq certainly won't help, either.......And I hate to say it here but I'm beginning to think that George Bush junior is the reincarnation of Wilson.
