R.I.P. The Big Fellow

Legendary coach/ticking time-bomb, Rick Majerus. He was one of the best to ever coach college basketball and a true American original (the driest sense of humor this side of Mojave). Man, am I ever going to miss the guy....................................................................................FYI, his overall record was 517-215 (56-35 at Marquette, 43-17 at Ball State, 323-95 at Utah, and 95-69 at Saint Louis - a program that he basically brought from the ashes). He had only one losing season in 25 years of coaching and led an undermanned and outgunned Utah team to the NCAA finals in 1998. Absolutely incredible.

I'm gonna tell you Rick Majerus was a nightmare for the people setting the lines while he was at Ball State.....he made a lot of sports book managers sweat.

I loved the guy. Rest his soul.

Imagine how many games that Majerus would have won had he the same level of talent that Jim Calhoun, Roy Williams, and Jim Boeheim had. I mean, the dude won 26 games at Saint Louis last year, for Christ.
