Just for me I would have to add Brock Peters as Tom Robinson from the movie version of "To Kill a Mockingbird."
Of the ten movies you've listed I have only seen "The Misfits". I've also seen "To Kill a Mockingbird". I'd only rate them as being OK.
Good addition, double b. It was real hard to be a black character actor back then and that guy was an extremely good one.......What classic films do you enjoy, wd? I'm thinking "The Wizard of Oz".
I'm guessing WD would give a big thumbs up to any films directed by Leni Riefenstahl.
LOL!!! Rusty
Rusty's comment wasn't worthy of an LOL. It was simply standard in regards to what passes for Reich-wing humor. If you liked Rusty's joke I suggest you check out "365 Ways to Drive a Liberal Crazy", by Libertarian Conservative dumbass James Delingpole.
My list would be the top 10 classic film score composer and actor combos. Number one would be Bernard Herrmann and Cary Grant for "North by Northwest". I'd have to think about it to arrive at the other rankings. Also on the list would be Adolph Deutsch and Jack Lemmon for "The Apartment" and "Some Like it Hot".
I would watch "North by Northwest" for Eva Marie Saint alone. And "The Apartment" is a terrific film.
My guess regarding films Rusty would give a big thumbs up to would be anything directed by Giovacchino Forzano.
