On North Carolina Hiring Mack Brown as Their Next Football Coach (He Had Coached at Chapel Hill Previously from 1988 to 1997, Finishing In the Top 10 His Final Two Years)

Mack is an awesome guy and his coaching credentials are superb. But I'm not so sure about this. a) The guy is 67, b) he hasn't coached in 5 years, and c) his last four years at Texas were kind of mediocre. If it was up to me, I would have tried to entice one of the younger coaches or coordinators out there; guys like Scott Satterfield from Appalachian State, Seth Littrell from North Texas, Neal Brown from Troy, Mike Norvell from Memphis, Chip Long - the OC at Notre Dame, or Ryan Day - the OC at Ohio State. But being that I wasn't, Mack it is, I guess. Go 'Heels.
