Top 15 Athletes to Never Win a Title (Basketball, Baseball, Football)

15) Tony Gwynn............. 14) Jim Kelly............. 13) Carl Yastrzemski............. 12) Ken Griffey Jr.............. 11) Fran Tarkenton............. 10) Charles Barkley............. 9) Earl Campbell............. 8) John Stockton............. 7) Dick Butkus............. 6) Karl "the mailman" Malone............. 5) Elgin Baylor............. 4) Barry Sanders............. 3) Ty Cobb............. 2) Dan Marino............. 1) Ted Williams........................................................................................P.S. I've been told that Napolean Lajoie was bangin', but I'm afraid that I'm probably going to have to pass on him. Patrick Ewing, Harmon Killebrew, and Ernie Banks would instead be my honorable-mentions.

Napolean Lajoie? Come on! That's obviously a made-up name.

The Barry Sanders reference almost made my inner child cry. Almost. If he would have had a front line like Dallas had when he was playing....oh my. He would have been uber-unstoppable, and Detroit just might have won a SB title.

If only....

If he played for Dallas back then, God, he might have had 20,000 yards.............And it should also be pointed out that Sanders probably had the greatest season in the history of college football back in 1988. He gained over 2,600 yards and scored 39 touchdowns (in 12 games - back then they didn't include the bowl game and I think that he scored another 4-5 times in that game). Amazing.

Will,

I have nominated you and your fine blog for The Liebster Award.

See here:

You have earned it, sir. Now go and have a nice cup of joe and bask in your greatness!

Chakam: I have nominated you and your fine blog for The Liebster Award.

No you haven't. I read the post on your blog. It says only 5 nominations are allowed per individual. You nominated 6 (Will being number 6). Since you went over your limit your nomination of Will's "fine blog" clearly does not count.

But Will should be grateful for that. Apparently the "Liebster Award" is some kind of joke award (like the razzies) given out to the most hilariously bad Conservative blogs.

After looking over Chakam's "fine blog" it's my opinion that he should win. What cinched it for me was the picture of Jesus in the sidebar holding a sign that says, "I'm sorry you thought he was my second coming". No Liberal thinks, or ever thought Obama was the second coming of Jesus. Only Conservative dipshits like Chakam believe this.

Unless his blog is meant sarcastically... intended to poke fun at Conservatives (in which case I say WELL DONE)... but, based on his comments here, I highly doubt that's the case.

Will,

I see w-d has now developed a crush on me. Should I tell him I don't swing that way, or let him pine in his longing for me? Should I flame him, or should I ignore?

It's your blog, so it's your rules. Please advise me via email.

w-d,

I've decided to ignore you. I have been taught to never throw my pearls before swine, so...oink, oink, w-d.

A lot of luck with that, Chakam. LOL
