An Infinite Number, Apparently

What would be my answer to the question, "So, how many different ways can the hard left articulate, 'Palin is an idiot'?".................................................................................................P.S. Look, I'll admit it, the lady brings a fair amount of the criticism on herself. But when I read how some of these leftist bloggers just go on and on and on ("a worthless piece of excrement", that's probably my all-time favorite), I always want to point out to them, "Oh, and your guys are soooooooooooo much better."...I mean, seriously, have you seen that Ed Schultz character? The guy is insane. He was recently featured in a G.Q. tongue-in-cheek piece entitled, "The Top 25 Least Influential People in America". They put him at number 3 (Tim Pawlenty was number 1) and, boy, oh boy, did that ever piss the fellow off. And crazy, you want to talk about crazy? He actually hypothesized that this was some sort of conspiratorial thing between G.Q. and Anderson Cooper, his time-slot competitor over at CNN. I mean, this is some really scary shit here, folks - characters like that walking around amongst us.....................................................................................................Just for the record, this was the hilarious write-up that G.Q. provided regarding Mr. Schultz - "Then there are pundits like Ed Schultz. Do you watch “The Ed Show” on MSNBC? Of course you don’t. No one does. The only reason that people watch “The Ed Show” is that they’re working out in a hotel gym and they can’t find a staff member to change the channel to ESPN."......Huh? Is that good or what? LOL

The very name "Palin", when spoken aloud amongst the unwashed rabble that is liberal America, is akin to playing Marvin Gaye music at a KKK rally, and yields the same results.

'Tis true, Will, I have not seen before such an open hatred for one person like the leftist media heaps and has heaped upon Sarah Palin.

Typical behavior for a bunch of evolved monkeys, though. Instead of slinging their poop, they use words.

Oh come on, Will. Comparing Ed Schultz and Sarah Palin? Schultz is a pundit, not a politician. He never ran for Vice President of the United States or had aspirations as President of the United States.

This is really an "apple to oranges" comparison and totally meaningless.

Try comparing her to a similar Democratic politician. You will be on more solid ground.

Chakam, does the word, overkill, come to mind?............Jerry, she hasn't been a politician in quite some time and presently works as a pundit (a mediocre one, at best) over at Fox. It's a decent comparison, I think, at least for the moment.

Will, up until a few weeks ago, Palin was collecting money for a possible run for the presidency.

And she showed up at numerous places around the country where other GOP candidates were announcing their runs for the nomination.

She kept everyone guessing as to whether or not she'd run for the nomination.

Ed Schultz did not, and does not, to my knowledge, have a PAC.

And the reason people have no respect for Palin is that time after time she keeps publicly demonstrating that no one should.

You seem to be upset that people say nasty things about her. Have you read the various rightwing blogs and what they say and have been saying about Mr. Obama?

This is politics--not Sunday School.

Palin is getting as bad as Hillary got, BTW.

Remember how the Right accused Hillary of murder and drug use? And being a lesbian while at the same time having an affair with Vince Foster?

Were you as indignant when that happened to a Democratic female politician?

Just wondering. Palin has compared herself to a pitbull and loves to show off toting a gun.

Why do people feel the need to defend this woman who likes to pose as an Iron Lady?

Will: Sort of like Huck-a-duck.

Shaw, if those people who gave Palin money actually thought that that woman was going to run for President, then I've got some pristine real estate for them.............As for Mr. and Mrs. Obama, I've defended them both vociferously at times (probably one of the reasons why Silverfiddle doesn't come here anymore) and I've defended YOU.............And, while I agree with you that Palin is a dullard, I also have to ask you, have you heard Nancy Pelosi speak recently. That idiot can barely put a sentence together. I mean, did you see the way that Steve Croft literally dissected her on "60 Minutes"? It was pathetic.............And, for the record, it wasn't just the right that hammered Mrs. Clinton. Remember the nasty stuff that Randi Rhodes, David Shuster, and Chris Matthews said about her during the primaries versus Obama? Yeah, huh?

Will "take no prisoners" Hart said...

dmarks, I can't watch Palin. I can't watch Schultz. I can't watch Hannity. I can't watch Maddow. Huckaduck? The dude seems affable enough but, no, I can't say that I can watch him, either.

Jerry Critter said...

You don't like Maddow either?!? You have something against Rhodes Scholars?

Will "take no prisoners" Hart said...

No, Jerry, I cannot stand her; her snarkiness, her abject partisanship, the fact that she's constantly laughing at her own jokes, etc.. Her educational attainment is immaterial (I'm sure that there are a lot of highly educated conservatives that you don't like; Donald Trump went to the Wharton School of Business, for example) to me.

Jerry Critter said...

She is certainly a liberal partisan, but that is her job. She is not a journalist. She is a commentator. She is supposed to offer her opinion.

Can you name "a lot of highly educated conservatives that [I] don't like"? No Rhodes Scholar conservatives come to mind.

You don't like that she is "constantly laughing at her own jokes"? Come on, Will. Everyone laughs at their own jokes.

Your objections are weak. Do you have something against liberal Democratic women? You have been trashing Pelosi lately also.

Inquiring minds want to know.

Jerry, Ann Coulter graduated from Cornell and Michigan Law (#7 in the country). Laura Ingraham graduated from Dartmouth and Virginia Law (#10 in the country). I'm sure that you would agree with me that they are both QUITE unwatchable.............I'm a moderate, Jerry. Progressives, regardless of gender, tend to irritate me. Hillary I can handle.

Jerry Critter said...

Graduation is an accomplishment but where in their classes the finish is also significant. Maddow, by virtue of getting a Rhodes Scholarship, must have finished near, if not at, the top of her class.

I agree that Coulter is unwatchable. I've never really watched Ingraham. And of course neither of them are Rhodes Scholars.

Will "take no prisoners" Hart said...

Jerry, Coulter graduated cum laude at Cornell and founded the "Cornell Review". She was accepted at the U of Michigan Law School (again, the #7 law school in the country - compare that to Biden who went to Syracuse Law, a tier 3 law school, and graduated near the bottom of his class) and graduated Order of the Coif and edited the Michigan Law Review. I think that she can more than hold her own with Maddow. I'll look up Ingraham tomorrow.

Jerry Critter said...

I think Coulter's whole "shtick" is geared towards selling her books. I am not sure she really believes anything she says...but then that could go for most of the current republican candidates also...probably a few of the Democrats as well.

Jerry Critter said...

I'd watch a debate between Coulter and Maddow.

Will "take no prisoners" Hart said...

Jerry, I've been saying that for a long time (that it's shtick and an attempt to get attention) and you're the only one who apparently agrees with me. And, yes, a debate between those 2 I definitely WOULD watch.
