Here's his specific threat - "We're going to make it swift, we're going to make it strong, and we're going to hold them very accountable." And, yes, there are several ways to look at this; a) we have a sitting Congressman who's not so subtly threatening private companies and b) we have these same private companies who've ultimately decided that they're willing to do the bidding of these low-IQ political buffoons......but only if they can get something in return (protection from law-suits and antitrust, perhaps). Either way the rest of us are now staring-down at some full-throated crony-capitalism and a bad-assed argument that these private tech companies aren't really all that private after-all.
