On Fact-Based and Reasoned Arguments Derived from First Principles Versus Sophistry, Emotionalism, and Promises of "Free" Stuff

Seems like a no-brainer and yet the Democratic and Republican parties of this country have seemingly opted for the latter. The path of lesser resistance, I guess.
