Warm and Seek

This is the satellite temperature data, folks. Observe it. As you can plainly see, there was ZERO GLOBAL WARMING from 1979 to 1997 - this, in spite of the fact that the U.S. and other western countries had all but eliminated those dreaded aerosols that a lot of these same bozos had been blaming for GLOBAL COOLING!! Yes, the temperature eventually did spike the following year in '98 but that was only because of El Nino, a naturally occurring phenomenon that man had absolutely nothing to do with. Hello!!

If you look at ALL the data on your graph, global warming is clearly occurring, even disregarding El Niño.

The warming from El Ninos and ocean oscillations doesn't go away immediately, Jerry. It can last for decades (with yearly variations, obviously - the climate is much more unpredictable and chaotic than these alarmists claim). I would also to instruct you to look at 2003 to the present. Again, there has been no global increase in temperatures during that time.

And, really, 3 tenths of a degree over 34 years - that's what we're going to radically alter the world economy over? And how, windmills (which if you include the high resource intensity and the need for fossil fuel backup doesn't really reduce carbon emissions by much at all)? Crony capitalism? Carbon taxes? Solar panels on huts (the fact that these environmentalists seemingly want these folks to live in huts in perpetuity is repulsive in my opinion)?
