Pollution 1 Treasury 0
According to energy expert, Robert Bryce, Frank O'Donnell, the President of Clean Air Watch, Donald Stedman, a professor emeritus of chemistry at the University of Denver, and even the damned EPA, the government's decision to allow the percentage of ethanol in gasoline to go from 10% to 15% will increase pollutants such as volatile organic compounds and nitrogen oxide by as much as 7%. To quote from Professor Stedman directly here, "More ethanol means worse air quality, period....and it doesn't do anything to reduce greenhouse gasses."...And to think that the American taxpayer dished out tens of billions of dollars to subsidize this garbage.
