Lindsey Graham, Unplugged

"Only in America can you (a reference to Glenn Beck) make that much money crying.".........."What I'm saying is that he (Glenn Beck) doesn't represent the Republican party. You can listen to him if you like. I choose not to because, quite frankly, I don't want to go down the road thinking that our best days are behind us. We need to act decisively.".........."He's (President Obama) a good man.".........."What do you (in reference to the tea party) want to do? You want to take back your country - and do what with it?".........."Glenn Beck is not aligned with any party. He is aligned with cynicism and there has alays been a market for cynics. But we became a great nation not because we are a nation of cynics. We became a great nation because we are a nation of believers.".........."They're (the birthers) crazy.".........."The problem with the tea party - I think it's just unsustainable because they can never come up with a coherent vision for governing the country. It will die out.".........."We're not going to be a party of angry white guys.".........."We don't have a lot of Reagan-type leaders in our party. Remember Ronald Reagan Democrats? I want a Republican that can attract Democrats. Ronald Reagan would have had a hard time getting elected as a Republican today."...........................................................................................................Look, folks, I don't necessarily agree with Senator Graham on everything. I don't agree with him on abortion. And I certainly don't agree with him on foreign policy (certain aspects of it anyway). But I absolutely think that we need voices like this down in Washington. Here's to hoping that those rednecks down in South Carolina don't succeed in bringing him down (they're trying to "out" him down there, I hear).

What good are "voices" like Lindsay's if when it comes time to vote. they vote the party line? Phony is the word to describe this joker.

1) He always at least SEEMS to be working with Dems. 2) He doesn't ALWAYS vote the party line (his vote for Sotomayor, for example). 3) A moderate "voice" IS important - especially during such a time of such overheated rhetoric.

The Tea Party doesn't seem to like him, either, Truth. I saw this one guy try to flush an effigy of him down the toilet. It was a part of some RINO hunting ritual that they were having.

You people are really quizical. You're up in arms over Lindsay Graham voting the party line but point to one time you've ever even said a negative thing about one democrat for not crossing the asile to vote with the right.Show one example where Reid,Pelosi,Upchuck,Grayson,Weiner or any others crossed the asile.

You can put Graham and McCain in a paper bag, shake it up and still have nothing.Graham is a wuss who sickens conservatives.

My problem is with phoniness Rusty. McCain or Graham now can proclaim themselves mavericks till hell freezes over. Then they vote party line.

McCain should just go home and live on his wifes AB money,Graham should just STFU.The conservative future lies with Eric Cantor,Nikki Haley,Meg Whitman and Tim Palenty not with wusses like Lindsey Graham.Yes,Palin,Romney and Hulkleberry can raise money and draw crowds but neither will ever see a nomination.

As for the Tea Party....they were fun while it lasted and they may very well hold sway in a few election results in Nov. but by 2012 they will have been an afterthought.

Rusty is right. There are a lot of Democrats who vote the party line, too......Wow, I guess that I'm the only one who (kind of) likes Mr. Graham. Man, oh, man, is this guy ever in trouble. LOL
