Personally, except for the vacation this summer has sucked. Can't wait for winter to get here, sometime around October after most of the tourists have gone home I am going to the beach with a cooler of beer and enjoy the cooler air and solitude.
I tell you, because both the left and the right seem to be pissing me off more and more I am highly tempted to find some isolated spot on the planet and become a hermit. Western Australia or Tasmania is looking damn good right now.

Lydia, Russ, in spite of her high and sometimes shrill level of partisanship, seems like basically a decent person. Her contibutors, however, I agree, those 3 guys are about as low (as in nasty, paranoid, etc.) as the blogosphere can get. I personally don't miss those SOBs one lick.
