Correction, this is not Elizabeth's mom, Elizabeth Allen. It's a different Elizabeth Allen, a beautiful English actress who was born in 1910, six years after Ms. Montgomery mom was born. And to make it even more baffling there was a third actress named Elizabeth Allen. This one (also quite attractive) was born in 1929 and resided in the U.S..
P.S. And in case you weren't aware, Elizabeth Montgomery's dad was Robert Montgomery (his wife apparently wanted to keep her family's last name) the famous actor from the 1930s and '40s and quite a good looking fellow himself.
I'm hoping that I cleared this up, or at the bare minimum didn't make things more complicated.
