I'm far more offended by what comes out of his mouth than by what goes in and out of his wallet (the latter being none of mine or anybody else's business - unless of course he breaks the law).

I suppose it has left the mainstream and remains in the greasy clutches of a tiny fringe of fantasists. Just like the idea that Bush stole the election in 2000.
I'm beginning to think that both sides are insane. You have birthers on the right and there are numerous polls (Zogby, Rasmussen, Scripps-Howard, etc.) which claim that nearly half of Registered Democrats think that Bush was either behind 9/11 or that he knew about it and allowed it to happen.
They said the same thing about FDR and Pearl Harbor. Loons have been a constant. There are just a boatload more republican and conservative loons than ever before IMO.

The culmination of such loonery is impeachment noise. It came from the left when Bush was President of course, and now from the Right due to the Obama presidency.
