On the Spurs' Gregg Popovich Being a "Great Coach"
Yeah, maybe, but when you have the services of Tim Duncan for 16 years, Tony Parker for 12 years, and Manu Ginobili for 11 years, you gotta figure that at least some of that greatness has been thrust upon him.
He's a good coach, guys. I didn't mean to imply that he wasn't, just that he had the players that other coached would have loved to have had on their ball team.
I mean, think about it. There's a good chance that Pitino would still be with the Celtics if those lottery balls had bounced in his direction and not in Popovich's.

Will,has the thought crossed your mind that Pop may be some of the reason all those guys have hung around so long?
If you want to see the impact of a coach, looks at this years Lakers.
