I Would Probably Go With These Three Guys (With Wilson and Polk Nipping at Their Heels) 2

What would be my answer to the question, "So, who, in your opinion, are the three most overrated Presidents in U.S. history?"

I'd leave Wilson off, at least for his ham-handed involvement in the creation of Yugoslavia, which was a huge mistake.

Correction: I agree with you. I made the mistake of blurring the two posts of great presidents and overrated ones.

Reagan deserves bad marks indeed for the huge debt. He didn't have to sign the bad budgets the Democrats sent across his desk.

They were, all things considered Very effective. All left their indelible mark on the nation.

GWB with his Patriot Act and huge Federal Government expansion of federal powers via Homeland Security will make that list as well.

With Barry tagging along. Oops, I overlooked ObamaCare. Oh well, never mind...

Reagan did a great job at whipping inflation, high interest rates, and unemployment but I docked him for Iran-Contra, the Lebanon and savings and loan fiascoes, and like you said the monstrous deficits.............I hear ya', Les. I guess that I didn't include them because I don't know a lot of people who would rate them high in the first instance, W especially.
