wd, a) I'm not a strict adherent to any one philosophy, b) I'd be interested in just how much Austrian economics that you've actually exposed yourself to (my suspicion is not too much), and c) I just might take a look at Johnson.............So, Les, what do you think, have you ever seen a more closed mind than this wd?
And the corporations would make out a lot worse under a President Paul than a President Obama (my God, just the stimulus package alone lubricated the big boys; big energy, big concrete, etc.).
Hey, dmarks, have you noticed how basically everything that wd advocates involves taxing the wealthy? I mean, it's his frigging solution to EVERYTHING. It sounds to me like he's the bald-faced greedy one here.
dmarks: I admit that too. That is why I am opposed to socialism.
Socialism is enacting economic policies that are for the social good. "Social good" means society at large, not a small group of elites.
Although I'm sure the dmarks' dictionary redefines the word "socialism" so what he's saying isn't complete nonsense... but using the dictionary definition everyone else accepts, what he's saying is (complete nonsense).
Will, I'm opposed to/against greed. That's why I support higher marginal tax rates. I'm for more of the population sharing in the wealth of the country. You're the one supporting greed.

Certainly makes Ben Stein look bad. btw, what do you think Ron Paul got? He isn't in that video.
Also, you can put videos right in your posts (instead of giving a URL).
Nevermind. I see he was an economic advisor to Ron Paul. And he's a believer in the the Austrian School.
So I guess you've made up your mind to vote for Gary Johnson? Libertarians are the ones who believe in that Austrian School nonsense.
It is you wd who is nonsensical. But go ahead, feel free to continue to prove it over and over again.

My mind is closed to economic policies that benefit a small elite, yes... I'll admit that.

Come on, Will. You, yourself, advocate increasing the top marginal rate.
I advocate going back to the Clinton rate of 39.6%, Jerry (I even round it up to 40%). There's a big difference between that and what wd is proposing.
A man walks up to a woman and says, "Will you have sex with me foe $1000?"
"yes", she says.
"Well, how about sex for $50?" he says.
"What kind of a woman do you think I am?"
He says, "we have already established what kind of a woman you are. We are just haggling over price.
Same thing here, Will. We are just haggling over how big the increase should be.
