What, Elliot Abrams Wasn't Available?
If what I heard was true, and Congressman King actually bought out former Reagan gadfly (and, yes, erstwhile over-the-top lunatic), Frank Gaffney, as one of his "experts", then the Congressman is even more of a charlatan than I thought. I mean, have you ever seen this Gaffney guy? He frigging makes Senator McCain sound like Ghandi, for Christ! And not only is he a madman who basically wants to bomb EVERYBODY, he's also completely and totally full of shit. The latest example of this is this preposterous claim of his (pulled out of thin air, evidently) that 85% of America's mosques are being radicalized. Hm, I guess that it DOESN'T take one to know one.

Gaffeny and Bolton are really interesting fellows, I say arm their asses and drop them some place like Afghanistan and let their overeager desire for war save them.
It's funny (as in ironic), double b. Larry Korb was also a member of the Reagan administration, and he turned out exactly the opposite (military action as a very last resort). It must have been very interesting in that lunch room back then (if in fact they were there simultaneously).
Hell, I'm pro-military and even in this time demanding cuts from defense know we need to upgrade out fighter aircraft and several other items.
Seriously, I have to put the blame on some of the warmongering insanity on early onset senility.
How come all those warrier types never bothered to serve in uniform. Experience is a good teacher...
You're right, BB Idaho, other than McCain (who the other double b correctly assessed as wacky), most of these clowns (Kristol, Wolfowitz, Pearle, etc., etc.) have never even whiffed a gunshot before. Chicken Hawk - that's not at all too strong a term, in my opinion.
