On the Fact that Even Though Shaka Zulu Was an Odious, Genocidal Madman Many Magnitudes Worse than Jefferson and Washington, No One In Present-Day South Africa Seems Particularly Interested In Taking Down Any of His Statues, Memorials, and Monuments

It's of course a monstrous double-standard............and yet nobody seems to want to address it (or the white guilt that accompanies it). Oh well, as long as we still have that Robert Byrd statue, I guess.
