The Plimer Plan for Stopping Climate Change/Global Warming
1) Stop ocean and lake-floor bacteria from emitting CO2.......2) Prevent the earth's plate tectonics and continents from moving.......3) Stop the ocean's currents from changing.......4) Stop the earth's orbital changes.......5) Stop variations in energy released by the sun.......6) Stop the orbit of our solar system in the galaxy.......7) Stop supernova eruptions.......8) Stop the moon's orbital changes.......9) Stop the earth's volcanoes from erupting.......10) Stop variations in the earth's cloud cover.

This global warming stuff has been blown way out of proportion and it's been bordering on fearmongering many times, just like with how certain neoconservatives want to go trigger happy on Iran when they haven't attacked another country in well over 200 years. I have no doubt it's happening and I have a lot of faith in science, but here in Georgia, it snowed three winters in a row. It hasn't snowed at all yet this year or last year. Al Gore sure made a huge profit out of becoming a global warming crusader in my opinion.
I try to steer clear of terms like "hoax" and "conspiracy" cause that's the type of lingo that clowns like Hannity and Beck use, but, skeptical (at least that man is the primary cause), yeah, I'm a little skeptical.

Other nations are also victims of the terrorist regime there...all of it unprovoked aggression from Iran. Its not fearmongering when one of that nation's slogans is a chant demanding the deaths of 300,000,000 Americans.
Will: "hoax" is about it when leaked documents reveal that one of the main and most influential global warming "scientists" intentionally fudged the data.

Understandable. Thanks to those morons we can't even be a little bit skeptical without someone saying that we're idiots for having at least some doubt about how certain politicians are only in this global warming crusade for their own interests.

I can't find a specific article where they've attacked Israel directly, but they have supplied weapons to organizations like Hezbollah and Hamas. I still don't see attacking Iran as being in the best of our interests. Most likely it would end up being another Iraq and another situation where we inadvertently create more instability in the Middle East. It would be far more patriotic to worry about what's going on domestically.

Maybe this is why they harbor so much "anti-American" sentiment. Couldn't you say that we inadvertently created the problem to begin with? I don't feel that America should be the world's policeman when there are so many unintended consequences and liabilites.
dmarks, you won't be finding me apologizing for "Climategate". I'm just trying not to be too inflammatory here. There are no doubt honest people on both sides of the debate and I just happen to be more on the skeptical side.
As for Iran, gents, there are zero decent options. On the one hand, Iran with nuclear weapons is an untenable situation but, as Roberto says, a military strike would be a potential disaster and even if it were successful it would probably only delay the inevitable for several years. And we certainly can't be bombing them every 24 months or so.
Roberto: Those who hate us in Iran hate us for our freedom, for not being Muslim, and for getting in their way of wiping out the Jews. There is nothing approaching any intelligent or logic for hating the US. Even in the situation of Mossadagh, who was a megalomaniac hard-Left fascist who was going to turn Iran over to the USSR.
We only created any problem in this regard by not acting strongly enough.
