Peter Lorre was congenitally sinister, IMO.
I liked it when he said to Bogie in "The Maltese Falcon", "Look what you did to my shirt."
Paul Giamatti in the remake entitled "Planet of the Apes". Imagine a drunk, sleazy orangutan Jimmy Stewart. The strength of his portrayal almost saves this weak Marky-Mark movie. Anyone else see this?
I could never get over the fact that the Apes spoke English and the protagonists (in both versions) still couldn't put 2 and 2 together.......Giamatti is always great.
