Alright, I'm done. I'm out.

  1. With Maryland and Rutgers, Ga Tech
would make 15 in the Big 10. Somewhere, Al Davis must be snickering....

  2. Seems to be musical chairs for $$.
The WAC conference, which lost strong teams from the
80s/90s, is losing La Tech, Idaho,
    S. Jose St., Texas State and Denver. Those weak teams are being
partially replaced by even weaker ones. What used to be Western Athletic Conference has become
    Weak Anemic Colleges....

  3. I just did some research. The new teams are going to be Utah Valley University, Cal State Bakersfield, Grand Canyon University, the University of Seattle, and University of Texas at Pan American. And it sounds like they're just going to be playing basketball and other non-football sports.......Yeah, you're right, a big drop-off from the days of Arizona State and Frank Kush.

  4. Whomever is counting the teams in these leagues of 10, 12 or whatever is probably the same person making deficit claims/projections in the Obama administration.

  5. According to THE statistics guru,
Big 10 expansion directions are bad. And he is seldom ever wrong .
