What would be my answer to the question, "So, how would you characterize Mr. Romney's statement that the U.S should move its embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem?"
Originally in his policy paper put together by neoconservative Elliot Cohen, the issue of Jerusalem was not addressed. The issue was pressed by Gingrich, Bachman and naturally John Bolton. IMO, just a position to reinforce US evangelical support, and possibly tug a bit at American Jewish support for Obama.
