Now Here's a Fellow Who SHOULD be President

Virginia's junior Senator, Mark Warner - he's sane, civil, and well respected by both sides of the aisle. Too bad that the party apparatus in this country has a majorly stiff aversion to people like this.

  7. dmarks: And I am sure you didn't miss the second knee-jerk reaction.

  9. I said he would be an awesome president, not an awesome candidate. He'd be destroyed by the plutocrats and their fascist super PAC money.

In the dmarks' dictionary only. Bernie Sanders is a champion of the average American. He opposes the plutocrats.

dmarks: This example of free speech has nothing to do with strong centralized government.

Yes, we all know you believe those with the most money should get the most free speech.

No one should listen to you regarding what is "anti-fascist", since you don't know what the word "fascist" means.

  12. wd, that $1,000,000 that Bill Maher donated - is that fascist super PAC money, too?

  13. Bill Maher shouldn't have been able to donate a million dollars. The existence of super PACs says our elections can be bought. We need to overturn the fascist SCOTUS decision and implement a mandatory public financing system.

  14. I would prefer public financing of elections, too.
