Virginia's junior Senator, Mark Warner - he's sane, civil, and well respected by both sides of the aisle. Too bad that the party apparatus in this country has a majorly stiff aversion to people like this.
Bill Maher shouldn't have been able to donate a million dollars. The existence of super PACs says our elections can be bought. We need to overturn the fascist SCOTUS decision and implement a mandatory public financing system.
I shall definitely check this unknown (at least to me) out soon.

DeleteBernie Sanders would be an awesome president.
ReplyDeleteknee jerk reaction... let me guess.
ReplyDeletedmarks: And I am sure you didn't miss the second knee-jerk reaction.
ReplyDeleteYou didn't miss something that didn't happen? That's quite impossible, dmarks.

ReplyDeleteI said he would be an awesome president, not an awesome candidate. He'd be destroyed by the plutocrats and their fascist super PAC money.

No one should listen to you regarding what is "anti-fascist", since you don't know what the word "fascist" means.
wd, that $1,000,000 that Bill Maher donated - is that fascist super PAC money, too?

ReplyDeleteI would prefer public financing of elections, too.
