"Rocky" Beating Out "Network" (Best Picture, 1976)

What would be my answer to the question, "So, what do you think has been the biggest miscarriage of justice ever at the Oscars?"

  1. 1998 "Shakespeare in Love" beats out "Saving Private Ryan".

  2. How about "Death Race 2000" not even being NOMINATED!

  3. "Howard the Duck" got the same screw job in '87 too.

  4. But double b, "I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!!!", Peter Finch, Faye Dunaway (reeeooow!), etc.......Hey Volt, didn't "Howard the Duck" have Lea Thompson in it? Speaking of reeeooow!

  5. The scenes that Peter Finch were in were classic. The rest of Network was lame.

If SHARKTOPUS doesn't win the award this year I'll never watch any award ceremony again.

  6. As a knuckle-dragging/drooling fan of Faye Dunaway, oh holy one, I respectfully disagree. ALL of "Network" was exceedingly soleed......Nice to see you back in action, btw.
