On the Fact that I Could Conceivably Accept a, Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity, Verdict BUT it Would Have to Entail that that the Killer Go to an Insane Asylum for the Same Duration of Time that They Would Have Served In Jail Had the Verdict Come Back, Guilty

  Yeah, you see that way we could get an evil mofo off the street, penalize him or her for their dastardly deed, AND get them the necessary medical attention (and yes, if they're faking we can discern that, too). Touching all the bases, in other words. Granted, it doesn't let baby murderers off Scott-free (as crazy leftists in certain parts of the country apparently want) but most of us can handle that, I'm assuming.
