On John Stuart Mill's Belief that if You Could Get the Citizenry of a Country More Involved In the Political Process, it Would Enhance Their Critical Thinking, Further Their Knowledge of the World, and Cause Them to Be More Appreciative of the Common Good
Mill was a brilliant man, obviously, but as I look around and perceive one slopehead after another immersing themselves in politics and becoming even dumber for it, yeah, he might have been a wee-bit off on this one.
