On the Fact that "I Saw Her Standing There" by the Beatles (One of the Most Glorious Songs In Their Entire Canon) Only Reached #14 On the Billboard Charts In 1964
The only explanation that I can come up with is that the Beatles were literally bombarding the charts from 1964 to 1970 (sometimes having as many as a half-dozen songs in the top 40 at once) and that this particular number just got lost in the shuffle but, still, 14, that is insane.
