You should in that nothing has delivered more folks out of poverty worldwide than free market capitalism (prior to it GDP and life expectancy were essentially a flat-line for 3,800 years). Socialism - yeah, that just divies up what the private sector creates.
Yeah, it has been that way at times. Believe me, now days it is organized crime which simply sucks money away from the producers and purchases its advantage through lobbyists and PACs. It is a failing economic system, IMO.
All my jobs were private sector and I never learned to worship it.
