Fiscally Conservative, Socially tolerant, Anti-War
Neither was the rap of yesterday.Rap is Rap, urban gobbleygook for the most part. It is in a class of it's own. While it has social merit (some but not all of it) it is a stretch, he'll, it's a leap to classify it as music.
Puccini, Beethoven and Verdi didn't go down in a hail of gunfire like Freaky Tah, Soulja Slim and Scott La Rock...for starters.
Smetana and Mussorgsky both did some banging, I believe.
