How 'bout this fella'; West Virginia senior wide receiver, Kevin White? The dude has 69 catches for 1,020 yards and 7 touchdowns in the first 7 games. I mean, I know that they usually don't like to give the Heisman to receivers but this kid has been off the charts and so maybe an exception could be made. He should at the very least get an invite to New York.
ReplyDeleteHey Will....Trickett is throwing the ball to him....it aint falling out of the sky....
Trickett's good but was no better than 3rd string @ FSU. And did you see that 1 handed grab in the corner of the end zone? Kid is Larry Fitzgerald 2.0.

ReplyDeleteDont get too carried away Will....Trickett knew he would never start in front of Winston....hell,his dad is the FSU offensive line coach.
If the hands ain't got it the throw don't matter.
ReplyDeleteKevin White has phenomenal hands.
I'm with you Will.
Um..no. We all know that it will be one Marcus Mariota!

ReplyDeleteDon't be so fast on Mariota,he hasn't been setting the world on fire..
ReplyDeleteNo NFL team drafts wideouts or running backs, unless they are truly special like Sammy Watkins was last year.
With more and more schools running a "pro style" offense wide receivers and running backs become interchangeable.
Actually, Russ, Mariota's having an even better year this year. He's 132-188 (70.2%) for 1,957 yards, 19 TDs, 0 INTs, and a QB rating of 191.0. He's also rushed for 289 yards (on 56 carries, 5.2 yards a pop) and 5 more scores. Yeah, the dude's gotta real good chance, I think.
ReplyDeleteAnd all of this with a real crappy O-line.

ReplyDeleteI just don't think he's that impressive Will...Oregon's schedule isn't that strong....I think I'll wait until after Thanksgiving to make my pick.
