Wilson and Johnson were racists and FDR extended the Depression by a good 6-7 years. Truman, Kennedy, and Clinton were all significantly better, in my opinion.
I also think that Al Smith and Paul Tsongas would have been excellent Democratic Presidents.
I agree on PS, and AS.
I really don't know much about Smith.I tend to agree on Tsongas. At least to the extent that he would have made a great candidate.
