Duke 28 Wake Forest 21

No, it wasn't pretty but the Dukies are 9-2 now and next week's game in Chapel Hill against North Carolina will be the biggest in program history since the 1961 Cotton Bowl (in which they played and defeated a Lance Alworth led Arkansas team, 7-6). What an absolutely phenomenal job by David Cutcliffe.

  1. What a day for football! Next week Duke football will be the lead in for Blue Devil basketball, when has that ever happened.

Some big dap for coach RichRod and Arizona knocking the stuffing out of Oregon.Plil Knight has to be pissed off this evening.

How about Oklahoma St. opening a can on the Baylor Bears? I'd bet T.Boone Pickens had a drink or two tonight.

I hope no one is stupid enough to wear a Florida State jersey in Iowa tonight after the Nole's dropped 80 on the Hawkeyes.

  2. It was Idaho, Russ, but, yeah, I definitely get your point (they probably could have cracked 100 but they took Winston out early in the 3rd quarter).
