Some things never change. Look at fake Indian Johnny Depp as Tonto.
Yeah, Johnny Depp as Tonto was truly insulting.......Of course some of the Hollywood casting over the years has been amusing; the Jewish Eli Wallach as a Mexican bandito in "The Magnificent Seven" and again in "The Good, The Bad, And the Ugly".
The spaghetti westerns don't seem to take place in the real world.They did a good deal of fake Indian casting in the Twilight movie series, also.
