If somebody had told me two months ago that, on December 14th 2012, the New York Knickerbockers would be 17-5 and the L.A. Lakers would be 9-14, I would have probably considered that person a lunatic and tried to contact authorities. BUT THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT HAS HAPPENED! Can you even begin to believe this shit, people?
The Lakers are a good example that it takes more than a few great players to make a winning team. One stat that I find amazing, Lakers are 1 and 9 when Kobe scores OVER 30 points.
ReplyDeleteGreat stat, Jerry. That and Mr. Howard's free-throw shooting percentage.
ReplyDeleteMy stat was actually out of date. The Lakers were 1and 11 when Kobe scored 30 or more points until tonight's game. They are now 2 and 11.
ReplyDeleteI think that their coach is a big problem, too, Jerry (Dantoni). The guy is inflexible and apparently doesn't stress defense AT ALL.
ReplyDeleteHe is not a good fit with the people on the team.
ReplyDeleteAnd they supposedly could have gotten Phil back, too.
