Glad to be of inspiration, JM. And, yes, feel free to pick apart my musings whenever necessary.......Also, might I recommend Lightlife Smart Deli Baked Ham (totally vegetable protein). I find it almost indiscernible from real meat.
I don't know if this is anything you should be proud of, but the following is the article I posted last night, that was purely inspired by your unrelated one line post:
I just had a corn soy dog. It was every bit as good as the real thing.
I guess it was as good as the real thing. I don’t know what the real thing tastes like.
I guess even the real thing is not the real real thing. A corn dog barely has corn and I don’t think there is any real dog involved.
So I guess the corn dog is kind of a sham, a bit of a fake.
Anyway, I just had a corn soy dog, which is a fake corn dog, which is also a fake corn dog.
My corn soy dog was every bit as good as the fake thing, though.
The parts I saw were on basic cable, so I'm sure the graphic parts were edited out. In any case, I don't know how you reached that conclusion. I assume you're talking about murders and swearing (and possibly nudity?)... but I don't have a problem with any of those things.
Oddly enough, you inspired a few pithy thoughts about corn dogs. How, you may ask? Well, I thought after I read that, "what does it make me think?"
ReplyDeleteRight after asking myself that question, I thought how I just had a corn dog and it was really good, for soy.

ReplyDeleteHmm. I will try that if I can find it.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I don't really care for ham.
I guess I don't. I don't really know what ham tastes like.
So, I will try it if I can find it, and if I do, I will let you know if it tastes like ham to me.
Or, whatever I imagine ham tastes like.

I guess it was. I have never tasted a corn dog.
It also comes in turkey and bologna flavor, too. Both good.
ReplyDeleteOh, we were drinking last night.
ReplyDeleteI hear that they now make fake cubic zirconia, too. It is, John, as they say, a brave new world.
ReplyDelete3 Bush Lights. Does that count as "drinking"?
ReplyDeleteLight beer is light drinking unless you drink a bunch of them, in which case you move into the light heavy weight division.
ReplyDeleteI think I've seen parts of this movie multiple times, but never the whole thing.
ReplyDeleteIt might be a little too graphic for you, wd. I could be wrong.

ReplyDeleteI've seen just the part that has "Layla" in it. Or was that "Casino"?
ReplyDeleteProbably. which means I have never seen any of "Goodfellas"
